Welcome to Spring 2017! The Smith Park Advisory Council (SPAC) and the Chicago Park District will host the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Smith Park on Saturday, April 15, 2017.
This awesome event has been sponsored by SPAC for the past 4 years and it is a wonderful opportunity to gather our families from the West Town/Ukrainian Village and enjoy Smith Park.
We welcome everyone to come out and attend this kick-off to Spring and respectfully request that our families register by Wednesday, April 12th to ensure that all children have enough goodies to hunt.
We have two (2) time slots available for children to attend. Kids aged 5 and under will begin at 10 am in the gymnasium and kids aged 6-12 will begin at 11:30 am in the park area. There is no charge to participate in the Annual Egg Hunt, but we do ask for lots of smiles and laughter!
Please email us at email@example.com to let us know of your attendance and number of children. We would like to thank our Past-President Erich Muellner, who has graciously been our Easter Bunny since this event began and has done a fabulous job hopping around Smith Park. Our SPAC council members will be volunteering at this event, so make sure to say hello to David Ramos, Nani Almandarez, Dave Hunt and Ellen Ernst.
A big thank you to Smith Park Supervisor Travis Bogle, who continues to be an one of our greatest assets and has stated the he, “Loves seeing the kids running around the park, laughing when they are looking for their Easter eggs and candy.”
If you have any questions regarding the Annual Egg Hunt or any other Smith Park activity, please visit our website at smithparkadvisorycouncil.org or call us at (312)742-7534. Remember, baseball season is around the corner.
As always, the Smith Park Advisory Council thanks all of you for your continued support and we hope to see you on April 15th. Happy hunting!
